- Council approvals, including relaxations. (NB: a relaxation is a special application to council to allow the applicant to build outside of the existing council guidelines. For example, Councils may have a town planning rule that requires a five metre setback from the edge of your property. If you want to build into those five metres, you will need a town planning approval).
